Gas Production Company, Inc. has been servicing LP Gas needs for over 39 years. We look forward to serving you for many years to come. Our company is family owned and operated by the third generation. We all know of the economic conditions and rising fuel costs we now face. With this in mind we would like to make all of our customers aware of money saving programs as well as the company policies.

EQUAL MONTHLY PAYMENTS (Enrollment Period: May 1 through July 31)

Payments are based on previous usage or estimated usage and are due each month. Enrollment for this program begins in May and ends at the end of July. April is our “settle-up” month where all balances are paid in full. E.M.P. customers that make their assigned payments monthly and settle up in April will receive a discount off the regular price per gallon when their fuel delivery is posted.

PREBUY (Enrollment Period: July 1 through August 31)

This program is offered to our customers to purchase LP Gas at a fixed price for the heating season. A minimum of 500 gallons must be purchased.  The LP Gas purchased has to be paid for within 30 days of contract. The prebuy gas must be used by April 30th of the following year. Any gallons remaining will change to cash credit on your account on May 1. If your credit is returned before April 30, then a 20% restocking fee will apply.

CAPPED PRICE (Enrollment Period: July 1 through August 31)

Enrollment for this program begins in July and usually ends at the end of August. For a nominal fee, your gas price will not exceed the capped price.  The capped price remains in effect until April 30 of the following year.

REFERRAL CREDIT

All existing customers that refer new bulk (250, 330, 500 & 1000 gal tanks) customers to us will be given a discount of $50.00 towards their next fuel delivery. It’s our way of saying “Thanks” for the referral.

AUTOMATIC FILL

Customers who have been extended credit and have requested to be on automatic fill may be delivered to automatically. You must notify us before the next delivery is made if you want to discontinue automatic fill. The capped price fee for automatic fill customers will be waived if all bills are paid within 30 days of the date of delivery. If bills are not paid in 30 days, capped price will be removed and customer will pay current rates.

DELIVERY NOTIFICATION

If you are not enrolled in our Automatic Fill program, you are a “Will Call” customer. We ask that all “Will Call” customers submit a request for delivery when the tank percentage is between 20% and 40%. We generally will deliver to you within 3 to 5 business days. Therefore, it is important to notify us in a timely manner when you need gas. If you require same day delivery, a Special Delivery Fee will be required and must be picked up at the time of delivery. It is usually best to call in when your tank percentage is at 40%. This enables us to get to you in a timely manner and also reduces the total amount of gas you receive in one delivery. Our minimum delivery is 200 gallons or a fill, whichever is lower.

CREDIT

A credit application may be submitted at any time to Gas Production Company, Inc. There is no charge for the first credit report. Any subsequent credit reports after the first will be charged $25.00. We have three levels of credit standing. The first is Approved Credit. Approved credit means that you have 30 days from the date of delivery to pay. The next level is Conditional Credit. Conditional Credit still allows you to pay in 30 days, but if you carry a balance over 30 days, your credit privileges will be revoked and you must pay for goods at or before the time of delivery. The last level is Cash on Delivery (COD). This means that you must pay for goods and services at or before the time of delivery. Gas Production Company, Inc. reserves the right to reassign your credit status at any time based on credit report or payment history. Any account that has had their gas service interrupted due to nonpayment will automatically have their credit revoked and will become a COD account.

BILLING

With each delivery, you will receive a billing invoice. All bills are payable at time of delivery. If you have been extended credit, you have 30 days from the date of delivery in which to pay. If payment is received on delivery or within 10 days of delivery, you may be eligible for a discount off the regular price of gas that will be credited to your account upon receipt of payment. A late fee will be charged to all accounts that are past due and every 30 days thereafter until the balance is paid in full. If your account is more than 7 days past due, you will be subject to a service interruption (shut off). Allowing your account to become past due will also affect your credit status. If you need to make payment arrangements, please call our office as soon as possible.

ONLINE BILL PAY/GAS ORDERING

Customers who would like the convenience of paying their bill or ordering gas online can do so at www.gasproductioncompany.com. All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted.

SERVICE INTERRUPTION

If you allow your account to become past due, you will be subject to a service interruption (shut off) until your account balance is paid. Prior to interrupting service, we will attempt to contact you via US Mail and telephone. Therefore, it is vitally important that all of your contact information is current. If your billing address or telephone number changes, you must notify us.

MINIMUM USAGE

Each tank size has minimum usage requirements per year. The minimum usage for each tank size is as follows:

If the minimum usage for a particular tank size is not met in a year, a low usage fee will be charged. Alternately, management may allow you to trade down to a smaller size tank.
